Set up the committees
- Employee concerns › Committees: add the members of the Grievance Redressal Committee (establishments with 20 or more workers: equal employer and worker members, women represented) and of the Internal Committee (10 or more employees: a senior woman presiding, two employees, one external member, at least half women, up to 3 years).
- The page warns when a rule is not met. Download the notice of each committee to put up at the workplace.
Handling a concern
- Staff raise it under My space › My concerns. A grievance can be anonymous.
- Employee concerns › Concerns: add notes, hearings and statements, take it up, then resolve it with the outcome and action. The employee accepts or takes it further.
- Grievances: within 30 days, seen by the committee and HR. POSH: only Internal Committee members see it (not HR or the admin unless they are members); inquiry within 90 days, the employer acts within 60 days of the report.
- Reminders go to the committee before and after each deadline. Download the POSH annual report (a nil report too) and the grievance register from Reports.
Frequently asked questions
Can HR see a POSH complaint?
Only if they are a member of the Internal Committee. The admin sees counts in the annual report, never the details.
